Survival in Hostile Territory

This course aims to acquire some basic notions of survival, applicable in difficult environments.
In these days we will try to give real notions on the right behaviors to face rough environments and hostile situations. You will understand the difference between survival on TV and real life on the field. At the end of the course you will have clear notions on what to do, for survival in the African savannah. What are the priorities to be addressed in individual and collective survival as an individual and as a group.
Here are the main problems that are addressed:

  • Techniques for the distillation of water
  • Construction of shelters
  • First Aid in Emergency Situations
  • Orientation with and without compass
  • Cartography
  • Techniques to light the fire
  • Retrieval and storage of food resources
  • Construction of rope passages and bridges
  • Emergency signals
  • Construction rudimentary weapons
  • Crossing natural obstacles
  • Camouflage and concealment techniques

COURSE DURATION: 7 days offsite

PARTICIPANTS: required minimum of 6 participants
